NHHI Vixens Lacrosse

We are NHH’s women’s lacrosse team, also known as the superheroes from Sveis! With around 30 active members across different year groups, we’re a sporty and social bunch, and most of us are also quite involved in the student organization NHHS.

Lacrosse is still a relatively new sport in Norway and is mostly played within the student community. That means everyone joins the team with a clean slate, which makes it all the more exciting! You’ll experience a steep learning curve early on, but also tons of progress and fun. Since very few have tried lacrosse before, no prior experience is needed to join – we’re simply looking for enthusiasm and curiosity! Our practices are usually one to two times per week, both indoors and outdoors, and we aim to participate in student championships once every semester.

Off the field, we have plenty of social happenings on the agenda as well! We kick off the fall semester with a trip abroad, and every year we celebrate the national day together, host Sveiseaften, and wrap up each semester with a festive gathering. We also have regular get-togethers with other teams, a traditional New Year’s dinner, cabin trips, and pre-parties before both Internaften and Femtekullshow.
