Funds from NHHI
NHHI can provide support for common equipment but not individual gear. NHHI does not grant subsidies for social events. The equipment application must include an application text explaining why you need the equipment, various price options, the total requested amount, and a contact person for the equipment manager on the team. Preferably, quotes should be obtained from Torshov Sport if possible. To have your application considered by the board, it must be sent to nhhi.oko@nhhs.no. Applications are processed on an ongoing basis.
If the equipment application is approved by the board, the allocated funds must be used during the semester unless otherwise communicated in writing to the Financial Manager. The team is responsible for purchasing the equipment and must subsequently submit an expense report with receipts for purchases to be reimbursed afterward.
The team has the option to apply to NHHI for travel reimbursement to and from league matches in Hordaland. The car should be full. Travel reimbursements are used when someone has used their own car on behalf of the student association.
Funds from Other Sources
NHHI is a member of the Norwegian Student Sports Association (NSI). Newly established teams can apply for startup funds, while existing teams can apply for development funds. NSI also provides support for competence development, such as funding for courses. There are great opportunities to receive support, so take advantage of this offer. There are also opportunities to apply for travel support from NSI when participating in events like student games. You can find more information about this here.
The foundation distributes returns from its funds twice a year to support various activities. Activities that contribute to a vibrant and diverse student environment are given priority. More long-term purposes, such as practice rooms and equipment for carrying out activities, are typically prioritized over one-time events like dinners and anniversaries.

The College Funds can provide grants for social initiatives that target all or large groups of students. Typically, support is not given to activities that are financially profitable or in balance, nor for activities related to regular operations.
